James Parrish and the Ancora Construction gang have been laboring away giving the house its first coat of paint. It’s a Sheetrock primer/sealer that actually looks nice enough to leave on the walls all by itself. (In case you’re wondering, it’s made by Devoe, it’s called Wonder-Tones, and costs about $50 for 5 gallons.) We, of course, won’t be leaving the walls white, but it’s nice to know that the primer looks good just as it is.
We’re off to see The Gates in Central Park While the painters paint. The house should be completely primed by tomorrow.
Wow! How exicting for you guys. It looks great. Thanks for the tip on the paint. What a great idea. That way I can just prime everything and change the colors later when I have more time to decorate.
