President Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize | via Washington Times
“The announcement was unexpected considering Mr. Obama received the award after winning the presidential election just nine months earlier and took office only weeks before the Feb. 1 nomination deadline.”
I’m perfectly happy to give President Obama credit when credit is due, but at less than a full nine months in, I’ve got no clue as to why he’s getting a Nobel Peace Prize.
ADDENDUM: Teddy Roosevelt didn’t receive the Nobel until he’d been in office for 5 years. Woodrow Wilson had been in office for 6.
