CNet reporting today that, according to Sophos, there’s a new worm in the wild targeting jailbroken iPhones and iPod Touches. Another iPhone worm, but this one is serious | via CNET News

Details on the worm and what it does here.

The CNet article states that there is presently no fix for this worm, other than proactively returning your iPhone to its normal state, but it appears that the virus is still only affecting those iPhones and iPod Touches that have the original “alpine” default root password. So, if you want to remain among the jailbroken, change that root password.
