John Gruber on iOS 5.0.1 and battery life:
it seems like battery life under regular conditions — with no glaring bugs — has gotten worse. It’s not dramatic, but I’m getting noticeably worse battery life with 5.0.1, as is my wife, and as is Dan Benjamin.
My experience with 5.0.1 is that battery life is considerably worse than it was with 5.0. I didn’t have some of the problems that others mentioned re: 5.0, and my battery life now is worse than it was before the 5.0.1 upgrade. It’s not terrible, just noticeable.
