Uhm, wow! The Wall Street Journal caught Google with their hands in your iOS cookie jar.
I am 1/8 of an inch from completely shutting down anything I do with Google, and Facebook isn’t that far behind.
I totally understand that these companies put cash in their own pockets by selling what they know about me. But if they’re told that they can’t look at something they need to listen to what I say. If they’d like to withhold services if I don’t agree to allow them to capture my data, that’s fine. Then I can choose to either give up my information or give up the service. But just TAKING that information is simply creepy. (Kudos to @tomfansderson for the link to this story.)
