Other Dictionaries
As an addendum to the last post, I have two dictionary apps on my iPhone, WeDict (which name raises possible censorship questions) and WordBook which I recently purchased. Take note of the attached screenshots. WeDict has “shit” and several derivatives. WordBook is missing “shit” but contains several derivatives.

Even more interesting? Apple’s own Dictionary application, the one that ships on OS X with every Mac, not only includes “shit,” it also contains a shitload (sorry!) of shit derivatives, not to mention words beginning with “C” and “F”. Read the rest of this entry »
