Karen Green is an artist and the widow of the late great writer David Foster Wallace. The linked Guardian interview is incredibly tender and focuses as much on Green’s artwork as it does on the death of her husband.
I found the part about her “Forgiveness Machine,” to be particularly moving, but the entire article is a wonderfully worthwhile read.
You’ll find Karen Green’s artwork at beautifulcrap.com. There’s a photo of the Forgiveness Machine on the Site.
Very interesting art project going on in NYC at the moment called Dead Drops. Dead Drops are “anonymous, offline, peer to peer file-sharing network in public space.” You can get more detail at the Dead Drops website, but in the meantime check out this DIY video.

New Yorker artist Jorge Colombo “finger painted” this week’s New Yorker cover using the iPhone app Brushes. Truly beautiful and all created on the iPhone’s tiny canvas.
