My Converter for iPad review is now up at Macworld.com. Converter isn’t going to replace my all time favorite conversion app, the wonderfully designed and beautiful Convertbot, but it does offer some very compelling features and a fullscreen view of every conversion unit.

Convertbot!
Here’s the way it goes with me. I find an app I like and I stick with it. I occasionally have to convert things of varying sorts and types and I’ve been satisfied enough with the free Units app that I picked up last fall. It still fits the bill and does it’s job with utilitarian ease. But it shall convert for me no more. It’s not that Units no longer works for what I need, it’s that Convertbot’s beauty has enticed me. Caused me to wander. Let me touch its tempting deliciousness with my hot little hands.
That’s probably more filthy talk than you want to hear about an iPhone app, but Convertbot is just that gorgeous and converts far more than I’ll ever want or need.
Plus it’s on sale.
So get you some.
