I got caught up in the Quicken mess. I have used Intuits Quicken since 1989 and was baffled they got caught with there pants down. After contacting them I was directed to a fix that you failed to mention in your article. One must upgrade to Quicken Essentials before upgrading to Lion.

The music, the spinning camera, the hair change, so much that was taken from Vertigo, but in such subtle fashion that, unless you were a huge Vertigo fan (count me among the few) you may not have noticed it. I watched it several times afterward. It was great, and I love it when contemporary work slips in threads from great work of the past.

I just rented it on DVD and wondered if anyone else had thought that – the clue for me was the music; even though it has been years since I saw Vertigo, I couldn’t help thinking of it even before it started, and then when she changed her hair, and the music started … I thought, “Okay, here we go… chase her up to the bell tower”
