Remember all those concerns about the cheesy new version of iWork? Remember how Apple was moving backwards. Remember how much crappy these apps were supposed to be?
Now, try to remember how often Apple updated those old versions of iWork when they were on a DVD and you maybe saw new features added to the app once every 2–3 years.
Mmmmhmmm…

As Dan Moren notes in his Macworld article on these updates, this update does not mark the complete return of all the features available in the previous version of iWork ’09, but it is an indicator of things to come. Which appear to be many and good.
