Of the 21st century… 
Brian Donahue, sculptor, carpenter extraordinaire, and former cowboy, has flown in from California and begun to lay in the the stringers for the first set of stairs. He’s freezing his rear-end off at the moment. (The temperature in Beacon, NY is presently 30º.) But fortunately, we’re in for some unseasonably warm weather again later this week.
Hurrah for the stairman!
