And stare at stairs… 
So maybe this is kind of silly, but here’s the view from our bathtub. A little difficult to shoot actually, as I had to take the shot between some studs and avoid the plumbing at the same time. Hopefully you get the picture. (Pun intended…)
On the stair front, railing is complete from the second floor to the landing. On Friday I’ll complete the railing from the landing to the first floor.
One rather odd note here… I called and requested 40" balusters, come to find out the little buggers were only 39" long. I was able to make them work, but what the heck?
Last bits of cedar shingles arrived on Monday. These, unfortunately, have to be stained as the order was only for 30 sheets and that’s apparently too small an order for pre-staining. The upside to their arrival is that all the siding should be complete by sometime late this week.
