There’s no way to do this justice. At least not without a better camera…
The unfortunate thing here is that there’s absolutely no way words or even pictures can begin to give you an idea of just how beautiful the moonlight was streaming through our windows tonight. But, sorry as they are, words and poor pictures are just going to have to do.
It was a brilliant blue-white light that was centered perfectly in all of the east-facing windows, and that was also reflecting off of the snow outside. It was beautiful. Beyond beautiful. It filled the entire house. In fact, it was so beautiful that I wanted to somehow capture it with my camera.
Apparently, the ability to capture this light can be measured in seconds. (Yeah, I know, photography 101.) My camera, nice as it is, appears only to be capable of taking a 1 second exposure.
1 second is just about enough time to expose… NOTHING!
3 seconds? Maybe something.
One second? Never.
Enhanced with Photoshop Elements, these photos looks like some bootleg photograph taken in a theater playing a really bad print of the Blair Witch Project. Or maybe… it makes me seem like some serious art-house photographer.
No, really, I MEANT to take these pictures. I did!
That is moonlight my friends. Deliciously slippery moonlight.
Beautiful eh?
Hard not to like it even when it looks like this isnt’ it?
Get it while it’s hot…
