It’s a tack tile sort of thing…
So, Uncle Johnny, Aunt Linda, and my mother took a trip to Handcraft Tile on Thursday with a sample of the Jeffrey Court tile we’ll be using in our master bedroom bath. Their purpose was to hand-select the six special tile that we’re putting in our shower, making sure that it was a good match with what was going to be in the entire bathroom. Happy us! the six tile arrived yesterday.
To commemorate this wonderful event, Kathy and I spent some time arranging the tile in a fashion that we thought we’d like best. (This is what my aunt and uncle lovingly refer to as a "Mockery;" a mocked-up version of what’s soon to appear in real life.) It took about an hour, but when we finished we were very happy with the layout. Now all that’s left is to wait for the arrival of the rest of the tile.
And just so you know, these relief tiles are almost good enough to eat. If you’re looking for some kind of special tile to fill a niche somewhere, you definitely need to make a beeline to Handcraft.
