Kitchen cabinets are hung, with the exception of the cabinet the goes over the top of the fridge. (We’ll do that upper cabinet once the floors are done.) Werner Baumann, who hangs cabinets with perfection and speed, has now moved to the cabinets in the Master Bedroom Bath.
No sooner did Werner get the island bolted together and screwed in place than Eric Zimmerman, the plumber, began drilling holes for the water and waste lines and the undercabinet vents for the heating/cooling system.
When I return to the house this evening Werner will have left me cabinet measurements for the countertops. We’re a breath away from a real live kitchen.
First round of floor finish starts tomorrow. Second coat on Friday.
No walkee.
No touchee.
