Just another item off the checklist…
While I was waylaid a bit because of soccer and birthdays, I was able to get quite a bit of work done over the weekend. Most importantly, I was able to finish the railing on the stairs from the first floor to the Family Room landing.
Looks really good and it’s one more item dropped off the C.O. checklist. Tonight I’ll be working on the railing on our back porch which is the last remaining safety-related issue standing in the way of us and our certificate of occupancy.
The building inspector will be coming for a preliminary look on Friday. He’ll provide us with a punch-list and we should be able to nail it all down by the end of the next week.
