Besides being famous worldwide, Pete Seeger is also a humble local guy who picks up his own mail, has Christmas sing-a-longs on Beacon corners and who spent the entirety of  the last school year singing with my son’s 4th grade class. The liner notes of Pete’s Grammy award winning album include a photo of my son on it.
