So we can spit like mad…
As many of you may know, we have a stream that runs alongside our house. As you can also imagine, we have a pretty large roof which collects a lot of rain water during rainstorms. Right now the majority of that storm water, through a collection of hips and valleys, gets diverted to the front porch of our house. Obviously we need a gutter system to divert that water away from the porch and the house. Well, I got this bright idea the other day to get a gargoyle or two to attach to the end of the gutters so the can “spit” the water back into the stream. Seems like a pretty cool idea right?
So far the only gargoyles I can find are at a place called Gutter Goyles.But they only have three, all of which are pretty cool, but I’d prefer to have a little larger selection to choose from. My favorite? This one right here:
Tuesday is move in day and, bad hardwood guys notwithstanding, we’re ready to roll. Floor is completely done now and it looks great!
Finally we can call our house our home…
