Little Footnote Test

I like the idea of footnotes in my blog posts. It’s something I’ve seen on other sites and there are places where they make sense in what I’m writing. (tip of the hat to DFW¹ and JG² of DF³.)

So, can I make them work here?

Looks like I can!

Although it makes very little sense in a post this short.
