It’s only a faxed copy, but sitting in my hot little hands is the final commitment letter from the Mortgage Company That Wants To Remain Unnamed. We already had what must have amounted to a fake commitment letter, which we signed, sealed, and delivered with a $300 check. It said exactly the same thing, so I really have no clue what the difference is. Maybe some banking maven can comment this post and let me know.
Needless to say, we’re just a breath away from a true and real construction loan. Perhaps a little longer than expected, but most definitely right on time.
