I’ve been a bit tied up for the last few days, so much so that I haven’t had time to post two reviews that have gone live at Macworld.com.
First up, Reunion for iPhone, a great little app that acts as an extension to the desktop version of Reunion. While the program has a couple of minor shortcomings, overall it’s a great little application that makes it easy for you to update your family file on your iPhone or iPod Touch and then sync it with the family file oyu have on your Mac.
Next up, Acclivitiy’s stellar, small business accounting application, MYOB AccountEdge.
It’s been a couple of years since Acclivity (formerly MYOB) has offered up anything significant in the way of new features to this program, but AccountEdge 2009 is different. Better networking, updated security, quicker access to contact information, and a newly redesigned, although still somewhat limited, form design tool are just a few of the many new and useful additions to this program; a program that has long been the best small business accounting application on the Mac.
