I’ve been tied up in the court system for the last two days, serving as a POTENTIAL juror. Have not been selected yet, will know today whether or not I’ll be one of twelve.
Of note today is this rather interesting piece from NPR’s Morning Edition, in which analyst Richard Bove states that the “banking crisis” is a manufactured pile of manure.
“The bailout was only needed because of financial panic, not an underlying problem.”
I’d say the guy was nuts, except for the fact that I too have not seen anything, other than depression rhetoric, that amounts to a “depression-like” financial crisis.
A very worthy listen.
