As promised, the stonework has begun. René (in the white shirt with yellow sleeves) started putting the skim-coat around the foundation of the house early today. By day’s end he was able to get a ways up the chimney.
Daylight savings is currently saving most of its daylight for the morning, so I didn’t get any pictures of the chimney this evening. But tomorrow, as they say, is another day. A day which will also herald the delivery of the stone.
