Body of a message I received from a VAR today:
We are all well aware of the imminent possibility of a Swine Flu Pandemic affecting our area.
The key to avoid business disruption is to be able to be prepared to address this difficult event if it were to happen.
To ensure your users can securely –security company name redacted– access remotely –remote access company name redacted– their applications and be able to work while not in the office, please ensure you’ve taken the liberty and assessed that you own enough licenses to accommodate any/all potential remote users.Over the last few days, I have seen several requests from some of my clients for additional –remote access vendor redacted– licenses.
I would be remiss if i didn’t take the precautionary steps to alert each and every one of my clients that the turnaround time might increase dramatically in the event of this to happen nationally or even globally.
Please feel free to reach out to me via phone and/or email with any request you might have.
May we never to come to this, but be prepared if it does happen.
This company will now get ZERO of my business EVER.
Not to mention that it’s also a poorly written email message. Oh, wait, I mentioned that…
