The November issue of the Beacon Dispatch hit the stands on Saturday morning.
We’ve tried over the last two years to provide excellent local election coverage and detailed, unbiased information on all the candidates whose races effect Beacon directly. Kate Fraher, put together our election coverage this month. I wrote this month’s editorial, which addresses Beacon’s $1M Open Space bond issue. We also have an article by Jack Sine highlighting the Newburgh Free Academy‘s Solar Car Program. Students at the high school have consistently built one of the fastest solar vehicles in the nation.
As usual, the paper also has Beacon Voices, a Calendar, School Board and City Council updates, recipes and a couple of Su Doku games to help you while away the hours.
