As I said in a little Aside last evening, the Stone has arrived. 10 very big boxes of Drystack Ledgestone in Chardonnay, one big box of corners, plus one palette of small boxes called “handipaks.”
This is enough stone to wrap the foundation of our house starting all the way around the front, up the chimney chase, and onto the little 2nd story porch that’s at the back of our house.
I’ll be curious to see how much the stone guys are able lay in in one day. But, no matter what, today is the beginning of stone, glorious stone…
