So the joke goes like this, I see this post on Daring Fireball: ‘Find My iPhone’ in Action and, as any good buttboy loyalist must do, I hit the link to read the story.
Paragraph 1 reads:
Myself and two compadres, Ryan and Mark, are in Chicago (each of us for the first time) to attend Brickworld, the world’s largest Lego convention. Yes we’re a bunch of dorks. Yes you totally wish you were here too.
I see “Brickworld” and think, “Hey, what’s that.” I read further and realize that Legos have their own convention. How cool is that? And, yes, I do wish I was there too.
I hit that link and start reading about Brickworld and realize that it occurs right around my (not so) little man’s birthday and he is a boy with a rather large Lego obsession.
Next year? I think a road trip is in order!
Oh, and the ‘Find My iPhone’ in Action story is pretty good too.
