A Comparison of Mac Software Firewalls
This article appears in the June 2006 Print and Web editions of Macworld
Six individual reviews of software firewalls for the Mac with an overview stating why I selected Intego’s NetBarrier as the best Mac firewall that money can buy. I was also particularly fond of Brian Hill’s Flying Buttress Firewall, which puts an excellent front-end on Apple’s built-in firewall. Why only three mice? It requires a little more technical expertise to master than do some of the other applications.
