Another step in the right direction…
The old temporary stairs are gone and we’re now prepped for the new stairs to start going in. But we won’t be seeing anyone now until the weekend or Monday at the latest.
Footings have been poured and there’s some rebar that’s now sticking out of the concrete where the blocks are going to go, but we still don’t have any word on the bluestone for the stair treads. If the gentleman we spoke to yesterday isn’t able ro come through, René says that he should be able to get some stone from one of his suppliers in Long Island. Otherwise, as the saying goes… those who hesitate are lost.
