Suddenly, I’ve been reached out and touched by someone other than my mother…
While I work out the details of what pretty new face to put on my weblog (I’m thinking about having Jackie Blue clean up my web act and make me look a little more professional. A pretty tall order, I know…) I’ve been playing around with a couple of different, free, pre-packaged WordPress themes. I had settled, temporarily, on Sadish Bala’s beautiful Fall Season, but, to my great disappointment, after my upgrade to WordPress 2.1 and even after Sadish updated the theme to support WP 2.1, I just haven’t been able to get it to work the way it did before the upgrade.
In the intereim I have been using the highly customizable Blix Krieg theme which is frequently updated by a fellow who refers to himself as The Duck. (The name has something to do with DJ-ing, pubs, and a bar owner with a thing for keeping DJs humble by making them wear duck hats. Thus, “The Duck” has now secured a ducky reputation throughout the Aussie Outback and beyond.) Well, the Duck saw fit to choose my site as a Blix Krieg-using theme that he, “loved.”
Well, Duck, I love you… er, your theme too. Thanks for making something so simple to use and modify and more importantly for being there when the rest of us Lame Duck users reach out to ask you our even lamer questions.
You’re a champ! Thanks.
