New reviews up at Macworld now of Peterson Birds of North America and iBird Pro HD. Peterson, as you’d expect, offers up some pretty beautiful images of birds, but has a pretty steep learning curve that diminishes its value as a birding field guide. iBird HD is built on the foundation of Mitch Waite’s awesome iBird Pro, but I found the larger HD version to be clunky and not nearly as nice to use as its pocket-sized sibling.
