I had the pleasure of reading, in its entirety, the latest issue of Outside Magazine today while I sat around Nail World waiting for my oldest daughter and one of her friends to get Man’d and Ped’d for an 8th grade formal tomorrow night. In the issue there was an article on John from Cincinnati the new HBO series created by David Milch and I just loved what Milch had to say about who he writes for and whose opinions he cares about when he’s writing.

“When I write,” he says, “there are only five or six people whose nods of approval I care about. But all of them are dead.”

Gotta love it…
