For a wedding
While the housework work has gone on (a fitting end to summer) I tripped off to Tennessee for a couple of days to visit friends and see their son, who I knew as a baby, get married.
Jesse Alvey and Paige Barnett were married at Dyer Observatory in Nashville, TN (part of Vanderbilt University) where my friend Rocky Alvey runs all things astronomical. (and some top-notch live concerts once or twice a month)
The bride, as you might guess, was stunning, the groom, handsome as could be. The ceremony was mastered by Tennessee’s Senate Majority Whip Mark Norris and the libations were el perfecto.
I took some photos, but after seeing this teaser shot by Jesse and Paige’s photographer I think you’re better served by seeing what they did.
Everybody should get married in an observatory don’t you think?
