It’s all about the right call…
It’s hard to know how to come up with a good plan of action when no good plan is particularly obvious. So, as we dragged into week 5 of no real movement on the framing front, I tried to come up with something that would light a framing fire. After a long phone call with framer #1 (this is the guy that got the shaft from his partner) I decided to put a call in to framer #2 (the guy who did the shafting.) But this was no ordinary call to his cell phone. This was a call to his home phone with the express intention of catching the attention of framer #2’s wife. No joke… I got a call back from framer #2 within 30 minutes of my call.
As of this past Wednesday, there have been framers on the job for 10 hours a day finishing the roof framing and preparing to put the sheeting down. Now I’m a happy boy.
It’s all about who you call.
