I’m a real sucker for complex information simplified to the point that I can understand it. I’ve said before that the Planet Money Podcast has been a great place for me to gain an understanding of the financial crisis in terms that work for me.
This morning they did a segment on Morning Edition call, What Exactly Is A Trillion? that put the whole trillion dollar bailout thing into terms that a 5th grader could understand.
5th grade is right up my alley. I highly suggest that you listen if 5th grade works for you too, or even if it doesn’t.
I think you’ll discover that a trillion is way more than you think it is.
